KEAM 2026 Trial Allotment Out Provisional Phase 1 List Today

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has released a trial allotment. The list covers Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2026 Phase 1 seats. It is available on the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in. The provisional Phase 1 allotment will be published later today, July 7, 2026.

The trial allotment is a mock seat allocation for candidates. It shows the likely seat based on rank and current option order. Candidates can rearrange or delete options before the window closes today at 4 pm. The trial list itself carries no admission guarantee.

The trial round covers Phase 1 engineering seats under the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Rank-listed candidates who registered for option entry can view their tentative seat. A separate last rank list has also been released. It helps candidates gauge cutoff ranks across colleges and branches for this round.

How to Rearrange Options Before the Provisional List?

The option entry window closes today at 4 pm sharp. Candidates should log in and review the current option order. Preferences can be moved up or down using the option entry tool. Options can also be deleted if a college is not wanted.

All changes must be saved and locked before the 4 pm cutoff. Options frozen at that point will decide the provisional allotment.

Fee Payment After the Provisional Allotment

Candidates who accept a seat must pay a token fee to the CEE. The fee is Rs 8000 for government cost sharing, autonomous, and self-financing engineering colleges. Payment is made online through the candidate portal at cee.kerala.gov.in. It can also be paid at head post offices across Kerala.

Missing the payment deadline has strict consequences. Candidates lose the allotted seat if they fail to pay in time. They also lose all remaining options in the engineering stream. A fresh registration is the only way back after that.

How Is the Trial Allotment Different From the Provisional?

The trial round is only a preview based on current options. It helps candidates test their choices before the real allotment. The provisional list is the actual Phase 1 result of CAP. It becomes binding once the seat acceptance fee is paid.

The final Phase 1 allotment follows on July 8, 2026. Candidates who accept but want an upgrade can join Phase 2. Those who reject the seat can also try Phase 2 counselling later.

Documents to Keep Ready for Seat Acceptance

Candidates should keep key documents ready for the acceptance step. These will be needed at the time of final admission at the college. Marks statements, community and income certificates should be at hand. The KEAM 2026 rank card must also be printed and kept ready.

Why the Trial Round Matters

Today is the last window to fix the option order. Once the provisional list is out, changes are not allowed. A careful reorder today can decide the final admission outcome.
