The Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF), popularly known as KL University, has opened admissions for the 2027-28 academic session. Candidates can register through the official portal at admissions.kluniversity.in. The intake covers undergraduate, postgraduate, and lateral entry programmes across engineering, management, science, and humanities streams.
Phase 1 of the admission cycle is currently active. The last date to submit the online application is December 2, 2026. Admit cards will be released between December 2 and December 6, 2026. The entrance examinations are scheduled from December 3 to December 7, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Eligibility varies by programme. The core academic thresholds are listed below.
- B.Tech: Pass in 10+2 with 60 percent aggregate and 60 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- BBA, BCA, and BA: Pass in 10+2 with at least 55 percent aggregate. A written test and interview follow.
- Lateral entry (KLECET): Diploma holders in engineering can apply for direct second-year admission.
Candidates must also clear the relevant entrance exam. National-level test scores are accepted for select engineering courses.

A single application covers all four KL University campuses. The main campus is in Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh. Three more campuses operate in Hyderabad at Aziznagar, Bachupally, and GBS Kondapur.
