Lucknow University Extends Last Date to Apply for PG Courses to Aug 24; Check Here

The Lucknow University has extended the last date to fill the application forms for Postgraduate programs to August 24, 2020.

The PG courses offered by Lucknow University include MA, Master, M.Com., M.Sc., LL.B., LL.M., B.Lib.I.Sc, M.Lib.I.Sc. and MVA. Alongside, the last date for applying in the UG course has also been extended to August 17, 2020.

The university has also introduced three new PG courses namely, M.A. in Yoga, M.Sc. in Yoga, and M.A. in Public Policy and Governance. For the proper working of these courses, the Faculty of Yoga has also been introduced by LU.

Following the COVID-19 crisis and spike in cases, Lucknow University this year will hold all the UG and PG final year/ semester examinations in MCQ format. The University has taken an important move in these unprecedented times, by facilitating students with 'EASE'- Electronic Access to Services of Examination, via which students can now obtain and submit their documents online only.

For the first time in history, Lucknow University will hold the examinations for affiliated colleges. However, the system will be optional for the colleges. The university has also announced that it is gong to discontinue the Integrated MBA course offered at the IMS campus.

Lucknow University: Eligibility for PG courses

Students willing to take admission in LU must go through the below-stated eligibility conditions for various PG courses.

Minimum marks required

Candidates must have passed UG course from a recognized university and in the related field with aggregate marks of 45% for general category and 40% for reserved category.

For admission in LL.M. course, candidates must have passed LL.B. with aggregate marks of 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category students.
