State CET Cell Maharashtra has opened Round 3 registration and option form filling for MAH 3-Year LLB CAP 2026 at llb3cap26.mahacet.org. The deadline is September 6 and provisional seat allotment releases on September 17.

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Government of Maharashtra, has opened registration and option form filling for the Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 3. This round covers admission to the three-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme in the state. Eligible candidates can complete both steps on the official portal at llb3cap26.mahacet.org. The last date to register and lock choices is September 6, 2026.
Round 3 is open to Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Law qualified candidates who did not register in earlier rounds. It is also open to those seeking admission at the institutional level. The State CET Cell has flagged this as the final CAP round of the 2026 admission cycle.

Who Can Apply in Round 3?
Only candidates who qualified the MH CET Law 2026 for the three-year LLB course are eligible. Fresh registrations are allowed for those who did not sign up in earlier CAP rounds. Candidates who accepted and froze a seat in Round 2 cannot take part in Round 3.
The round also covers candidates who wish to be considered at the institutional level. Aspirants must ensure their MH CET Law scorecard and category certificates are ready before starting the process.
How to Register and Fill the Option Form?
Follow these steps on the official portal to complete the process before the deadline.
- Visit the official website at llb3cap26.mahacet.org.
- Click on the new registration link for Round 3 applicants.
- Fill personal, academic, and MH CET Law score details carefully.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the applicable CAP registration fee online.

What Is the Rule on the Betterment Option?
The State CET Cell has clarified one important rule for this round. The Betterment option lets a candidate seek a better seat than the one already allotted. This option can be used a maximum of two times across the CAP process. It is not available in Round 3, which is the final CAP round.
This is the last centralised round for MAH 3-Year LLB 2026 admissions. After this, only institutional-level vacancies will be filled directly by colleges. Candidates who miss the September 6 deadline lose access to the state-level merit pool.
