MAH BArch CET CAP 2026 registration opened on July 14 at arch2026.mahacet.org.in. Candidates with valid NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 scores can apply for admission to BArch seats across Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has opened registration for the Maharashtra Bachelor of Architecture Centralised Admission Process (MAH BArch CAP) 2026 on the official portal at arch2026.mahacet.org.in. The application window went live on July 14, 2026. First-year B.Arch seats in government, aided, and unaided private colleges across Maharashtra are being offered through this centralised process.
Admission is granted strictly on merit. The CET Cell prepares two parallel merit lists for B.Arch aspirants. One list ranks candidates based on their National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2026 score. The other ranks candidates based on their JEE Main Paper 2 score released by the National Testing Agency.
Both merit lists feed into the same state seat pool. Candidates with either score can therefore compete on equal footing. The admission framework aligns with the Council of Architecture (CoA) norms for undergraduate architecture programmes.

The Centralised Admission Process is a merit-based counselling process conducted in multiple rounds by the CET Cell. Each round has a separate option form submission window and seat allotment result.
Candidates who receive a seat in an earlier round may choose to freeze or float their allotment. Candidates who do not receive their preferred seat can participate in the subsequent CAP rounds.
Vacant seats remaining after the completion of all CAP rounds may be offered through institute-level counselling, subject to Maharashtra State admission norms.
