The State CET Cell has opened MTech CAP 2026 registration at me2026.mahacet.org. Candidates can apply until July 19 at 5 PM followed by document verification through E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode by July 20.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has opened the Master of Engineering and Master of Technology Centralised Admission Process (M.E./M.Tech. CAP) 2026 registration on the official portal at me2026.mahacet.org.
The registration window opened on July 9, 2026, and will close on July 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Document verification for M.E./M.Tech. CAP 2026 is conducted from July 10 to July 20, 2026. The last time for completing verification is 5:00 PM on July 20, 2026. Candidates can choose between two document verification modes offered by the CET Cell.
The CAP process governs admission to postgraduate engineering programmes across participating institutes in Maharashtra for the 2026–27 academic year. Seats will be allotted according to the sanctioned intake available on the admission portal.

What Are the Document Verification Modes?
The CET Cell has provided two options for verifying uploaded documents. Candidates must select their preferred mode while completing the online application. The selected mode will also determine how document errors and corrections are handled.
E-Scrutiny or Online Verification: Documents are verified remotely by scrutiny officers. If any mistake or missing information is found, the application is returned to the candidate for correction.
Physical Scrutiny: Candidates must visit a selected document verification centre in person. The date and time slot for verification will be allotted through the admission portal.
