The Savitribai Phule Pune University has announced the Maharashtra SET exam date on the official website. As per the schedule, the university will hold the Maharashtra SET exam on December 27, 2020.

Candidates who have applied for the Maharashtra SET examination can check the complete exam schedule at setexam.unipune.ac.in.

Earlier, the Savitribai Phule Pune University was all set to hold the exam on June 28, 2020, but was later postponed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The official notice states, “The SET examination conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University for the states of Maharashtra and Goa was scheduled on 28th June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the said SET examination was postponed.” 

It added, “The said postponed examination is now rescheduled on 27th December 2020. The information of the examination will be published from time to time on the website http://setexam.unipune.ac.in/.”

About Maharashtra SET exam

Maharashtra SET or MH SET Exam is held across the state of Maharashtra and Goa for teaching jobs in colleges and universities. The exams are held in offline mode. 

Paper 1 is for one hour, while the second exam is for two hours duration. The first paper includes 50 questions, while the second paper consists of 100 questions to be answered by the candidates. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
