Manipur Board Class 12 Result 2020 (Announced): Dates, Marksheet and Scrutiny

The results for the Manipur board class 12 examination has been announced on July 17, 2020. Candidates can check the results online on the official website by entering their board roll number. The senior secondary examination is conducted and regulated by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur(BOSEM). This year, a total of 29,144 number of students appeared in the BOSEM Class 12^th result 2020. 

Manipur HSLC Boards' results in 2020 were announced on June 15, 2020 on the official website of BOSEM. Around 65.34% including regular and private students passed in the examination. The passing certificates cum statement of marks of HSSC examinations are also released by the board. The examinations for class 10 were conducted from February 17, 2020 to March 5, 2020. The results for higher secondary examinations are delayed due to the decision to conduct the pending examination. The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) have announced that the pending examinations will be conducted in the first week of July 2020.

• The BOSEM has released the class 12^th merit list for all the streams. The Commerce toppers has been released up to rank 5, while for Science, the top 20 ranks have been released. For Arts, the top 10 rankers have been declared.

• Application started for rescrutiny of answer sheet for class 10: Candidates who are not satisfied with their board results can apply for scrutiny of the answer sheet. The application for scrutiny started on June 18,2020 and the last date to apply is July 2,2020

• COHSEM to conduct pending examinations for class 12: The authority has announced the date on which the examination for pending subjects will be conducted. The examination will be conducted on July 6, 2020 and July 7, 2020 at newly allotted centers.

How To Check Manipur Board Results?

The results are available online on the official website of Manipur board. Candidates can download the e-scorecard by entering the board roll number mentioned in the admit card. The steps to check and download the result are stated below:

1. Visit the official website of the Manipur Board
2. Enter the board roll number and click on ‘result’
3. Students are required to enter their roll number and other required details as given in the hall ticket and click on the Submit button.
4. Result will be displayed on the screen
5. Students can now view their result and download the soft copy in the pdf format or get its print out and keep it for future reference.

Manipur Board Mark Sheet 2020

The results for Manipur board class 10 have been declared on the official website. Candidates can check and download the mark sheet from the official website by entering the board roll number mentioned in the admit card. The mark sheet shall be considered provisional and it will be valid across the institutes for further admissions. The candidates are required to get the downloaded mark sheet attested by the concerned school or any gazetted officer. The original board mark sheet will be available in the concerned school around 15 days after the date of declaration of result. 2. Name of parents
3. Board roll number
4. Name of the stream
5. Subjects (Both, Compulsory and Elective)

Manipur Board Marking Scheme

Each paper in the written examination is of 100 marks including internal assessment and practical examination. The candidates are required to secure at least 33% marks including theory and practical in each subject to pass the examination. Also, an aggregate score of a minimum of 33% should have been secured by the candidates to pass the examination. However, the minimum passing marks in 2019 was 35% but it has been reduced to 33% from 2020. 

Manipur Board Result 2020: Grading Process

There is a particularly defined grading system on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the Manipur Board examinations. Below are given the steps to calculate the CGPA from Class 12th Marks:

1. Below is given a table which shows the grade point allotment system for each subject. Students are advised to follow this system to calculate their grade point and grades.

2. Now, after obtaining the grade points in each subject, Students have to add all the grade points secured by them in all the subjects.

3. Divide the total of the grade points by the total number of subjects.

Manipur Board Toppers 2020

The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur announced the Class 10th results on June 15th, 2020 on its official website. Out of 38,390 candidates who appeared for the Class 10th board exams this year, 25,084 students cleared the papers. The total pass percentage for Class 10th exams is 65.34%. The pass percentage of boys came out to be 70.88% while the pass percentage of girls this year is 66.76%. Reshmi Nandeibam of Imphal has topped the Manipur Board’s Class 10th exams with 96.5%, i.e., 579 marks out of 600. Huidrom Rohid Singh stood at the second place who received 578 marks, i.e. 96.33%.

Manipur Board Revaluation Process 2020

If any candidate is not satisfied with the results then S/he can apply for revelation or scrutiny of the paper. The application can be filled online on the official website of BOSEM. The last date to apply for scrutiny of papers is July 2, 2020 till 4:00 PM. Candidates are required to submit an application fee of 1000.00 INR for each subject which they want to get revalued. The fee will be non-refundable and no application shall be accepted without the payment of a fee. Candidates can apply for scrutiny of papers by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website of BOSEM
2. Click on ‘online application for re-scrutiny of answer script’
3. Read all the instructions carefully and accept the terms and conditions
4. Click on ‘proceed to scrutiny form’
5. Enter registration number, board roll number, and a valid phone number
6. Enter the OTP received on the phone and validate the same
7. Click on ‘next’
8. Enter the details of the subject which you are applying for.
9. Complete the payment and print the acknowledgment.

Manipur Board Supplementary Examination 2020

The board cancelled the supplementary examination for 2020 due to COVID 19 outbreak. All the students have been declared as pass. The office of Manipur HSLC had earlier released a complete list of the candidates who are eligible for the supplementary examination. The improvement examination have also been cancelled for the previous academic year. The results for the same will be declared in the last week of July,2020. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility to appear in the supplementary examination from the official website.
