IIM Ahmedabad Opens BPGP BA and AI Admissions 2027-29; Check Round 1 Last Date

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has opened applications for the second batch of its Blended Postgraduate Programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BPGP in BA and AI) for the 2027-29 session. Eligible candidates can apply for Round 1 on the official portal at bpgpbaai.iima.ac.in till November 2, 2026.

The Round 1 IIMA Admission Test is scheduled for November 22, 2026. The shortlist for the first round will be announced on November 30, 2026. Final selection letters will be issued on December 21, 2026, according to the official notification on iima.ac.in.

The programme is a blended format designed for working professionals. It combines online learning with on-campus modules at IIMA. The 2027-29 batch is the second cohort since the programme was launched.

IIM Ahmedabad BPGP BA and AI 2027-29 Round-Wise Important Dates

IIM Ahmedabad has released the complete two-round schedule for the 2027-29 batch. Candidates who miss Round 1 can apply in Round 2 before December 20, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, CA, CS, ICWA, or CMA qualification. The minimum requirement is 50 percent aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.

Work experience must be verified by March 31, 2027. Candidates with a three-year graduation need at least three years of full-time work experience. Those with a four-year graduation need at least two years.

A valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE score taken on or after January 1, 2022 is accepted. Candidates without a valid score must take the IIMA Admission Test.

IIMA Admission Test Pattern and Fees

The IIMA Admission Test is a 90-minute online assessment. It carries three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, and Verbal Aptitude. The test is conducted at designated exam centres across India.

The application fee depends on the entry route chosen by the candidate. Fee details are shown below.

The total programme fee for the 2027-29 batch is Rs 21,00,000. This includes a non-refundable commitment fee of Rs 1,00,000. The balance is paid across six instalments ranging from Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 4,50,000.
