MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 Registration Begins; Check Last Date to Apply

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 3 counselling registration on the official portal at mcc.nic.in. The registration window opens on September 22, 2026. Candidates can register till 3 PM on September 27, 2026. The fee payment facility will remain active till 6 PM on the same day.

Round 3 will fill vacant seats under the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ). It also covers Deemed and Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal. State quota MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing vacancies are also part of this round.

NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Important Dates

The MCC released the Round 3 schedule through a notice dated September 14, 2026. Candidates must complete each step within the stated window. Delays after the cut-off time will not be accepted.

Who Can Apply in NEET UG 2026 Round 3?

Fresh candidates who did not register in earlier rounds can apply now. Aspirants who exited Round 2 without joining any seat may also register. Candidates seeking upgradation from a previously allotted seat can also participate. Only NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates are eligible for this round.

How to Register for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3?

The registration process is completely online through the MCC portal. Candidates must complete both registration and fee payment within the stated window.

1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling link on the homepage.
3. Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number and personal details.
4. Pay the counselling fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
5. Log in again to fill and lock preferred course and college choices.
6. Download the final confirmation page for future reference.

NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule

The MCC has also released the Stray Vacancy Round schedule alongside Round 3. This final round will fill seats that remain vacant after Round 3 reporting. The stray vacancy round will be conducted fully online this year.

Courses and Institutes Covered

Round 3 admissions cover MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programmes. Seats include the 15 percent AIQ share from all government medical colleges. Deemed and Central Universities, AFMC Pune, AIIMS institutions, and JIPMER seats are also open. State quota vacancies added by the state authorities also fall under this round.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Visit mcc.nic.in and complete the fresh Round 3 registration.
2. Keep NEET UG 2026 roll number, admit card, and mark sheets ready.
3. Arrange the non-refundable and refundable counselling fee amount before applying.
4. Fill and lock preferred choices between September 23 and September 28.
5. Check the seat allotment result on September 30, 2026.
6. Report at the allotted institute between October 1 and October 9.
