The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has released the MP NEET UG 2026 Mop-Up Round schedule. The notice is now live at dme.mponline.gov.in. Fresh registration for eligible candidates begins on September 28, 2026. The window will close on October 2, 2026.
The Mop-Up Round covers vacant MBBS and BDS seats across the state. Candidates already registered in earlier rounds need not sign up again. Fresh registration is only for NEET UG 2026 qualified aspirants. The revised state merit list will be published on October 3, 2026.

Who Should Apply in the Mop Up Round?
The Mop-Up Round is the final state-level chance for MBBS and BDS aspirants. NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who missed earlier rounds may register fresh. Those already on the merit list from previous rounds do not need new registration.
Registered candidates can also participate in choice filling for upgrades. Only students who lock choices will be considered during allotment.
Round 2 Resignation Window Extended
DME MP has extended the Round 2 seat resignation deadline. Candidates now have until October 1, 2026 at 6 PM to withdraw. Those wishing to leave their Round 2 seats must act before this cutoff. Resigning frees the seat for the Mop-Up vacancy pool.
How to Register for MP NEET UG Mop Up Round 2026?
Fresh candidates must complete registration on the official DME MPOnline portal. The steps below outline the full process for first-time registrants.

- Click on the UG Counselling Mop-Up Round registration link.
- Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number and personal details.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the counselling fee through the online payment gateway.
- Download and save the confirmation slip for records.
What Happens After Choice Filling?
Candidates fill college and course preferences between October 4 and October 7. Locking of choices is mandatory before the window closes. Unlocked choices may be auto-locked at the end of the period.
The seat allotment result will be declared on October 10, 2026. Allotted candidates must then report to their college between October 11 and October 14.
This is the last state-level chance to grab an MBBS or BDS seat in Madhya Pradesh. Seats left vacant after this round may lapse or move to stray vacancy.
