Microsoft and AICTE Collaborate to Upskill Students and Educators in New Age Technology ; Check details here

Microsoft has tied-up with All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) to develop new-age technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), data science, Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing. 

Under the partnership, around 1,500-course modules from Microsoft would be accessible free of cost through AICTE's online learning portal ELIS to students and learners, as per the statement released.

The statement also mentioned that Microsoft Learn has combined with the ELIS platform to be available for study resources for students and personalized learning paths, including a wide range of technologies such as AI, IoT, data science, cloud computing, etc. 

According to the statement, the collaboration will also give learners access to online learning. The Microsoft Learn for Educators platform will also provide instructor-led training material.

Both eligible learners and faculty members could easily practice Microsoft's whole curriculum and teaching materials coordinated with industry-recognized Microsoft certifications.

Anant Maheshwari, Microsoft India President, said that the tie-up with All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) showcases Microsoft's commitment to form a fixed skilling ecosystem in the nation and provide an ongoing learning process. 

"COVID-19 has accelerated the need for upskilling and has shown clearly that the future of learning will be profoundly personalized and supported by technology. We are committed to empowering learners and educators across the country to skill themselves in emerging technologies and partner in the journey to thrive in a digital future," he further added.

Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, revealed that upskilling is necessary to improve job opportunities in our country. 

“AICTE is happy to partner with Microsoft to help students get an opportunity to be hands-on with the latest technology and build products and services for the future,” he added.

This partnership will also facilitate first- hand experiences with technology and build a bright future for the students. 

Students 18 and above can develop apps, explore AI. Additionally, they can make the most of large data renewable annually with access to over 25 free Azure services together with USD 100 in Azure credit.

Moreover, Microsoft will conduct live webinars on next-generation technologies for students of AICTE to make the learning process more interactive. 

Microsoft will sponsor over 1,000 Microsoft Certification Exam Vouchers spanning different technologies for students belonging to reserved categories to ensure everyone is benefitted from this technology.
