MIT-WPU BTech and BArch Admission 2026-27 Deadline Extended; Check Last Date to Apply

The Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) has extended the application deadline for its Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programmes. The revised last date applies to the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates can now apply on the official portal at mitwpu.edu.in till August 30, 2026.

The extension gives fresh time to aspirants who missed the earlier cut-off. Applications remain open across engineering and architecture streams offered by the Pune-based university. Interested students should complete registration before the new deadline lapses.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have cleared Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50 percent is required in the qualifying examination. Reserved category candidates from Maharashtra need at least 45 percent aggregate.

English must be a compulsory subject at the Class 12 level. Applicants can also offer Physics and Mathematics with a technical vocational subject. Lateral entry candidates need 60 percent in an approved Engineering Diploma.

BTech Specialisations Offered at MIT-WPU

The university offers a wide basket of BTech specialisations for the incoming batch. Core streams include Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering. Emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are available too.

Other options cover Cyber Security, Robotics and Automation, and Electronics and Communication. Chemical, Petroleum, Polymer and Bio Engineering programmes are also part of the offering. Bioengineering admissions consider NEET scores for eligible applicants.

Accepted Entrance Exam Scores

Admission to BTech programmes runs through multiple entrance exam routes this year. The university accepts scores from JEE Main, MHT-CET and PERA CET. MIT-WPU also conducts its own entrance test called MIT-WPU CET 2026.

The MIT-WPU CET carries 150 marks in total across two components. It includes a 100-mark online proctored Computer-Based Test. A 50-mark Personal Interview round applies to select programmes as per policy.

5. Upload the photograph, signature and Statement of Purpose where required.
6. Pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 per programme.
7. Submit the form and save the confirmation for records.
