MP BTech Round 2 Merit List 2026 Released at dte.mponline.gov.in; Check Seat Allotment Date

The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has issued an important update. It has released the BTech Round 2 Common Merit List 2026. Candidates can check their ranks on the official portal at dte.mponline.gov.in.

The seat allotment result will be declared on July 27, 2026. Selected candidates must print their allotment letter from the same portal. The allotment letter printing window will remain open until July 30, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

The merit list has been published in two formats on the official portal:

• Common Merit List for TFW and General Pool Second Round
• Common Merit List Based on the Qualifying Examination

How to Check the MP BTech Round 2 Merit List?

The DTE Madhya Pradesh has kept the merit list checking process simple. Candidates can follow the steps given below to view their Round 2 merit rank:

• Visit the official portal at dte.mponline.gov.in.
• Click on the Common Merit List link for the Second Round.
• Select either the TFW and General Pool Merit List or the Qualifying Examination Merit List.
• Enter your application number and date of birth.
• Submit the details to view your merit rank on the screen.
• Download the merit list page and save a copy for future reference.

What Happens After the Seat Allotment on July 27?

Candidates who are allotted a seat must complete institute-level reporting within the prescribed deadline. The reporting window will open on July 27, 2026, and close on July 30, 2026.

During this period, candidates must visit their allotted college for document verification.

Failure to report within the given window will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat. Candidates should carry their original documents along with a printed copy of the allotment letter.

• Academic mark sheets
• Valid ID proof
• Counselling fee receipt
• Printed allotment letter

Is Internal Branch Change Allowed After Round 2?

Yes, DTE Madhya Pradesh is offering an internal branch change facility. Candidates who have already been allotted a seat can request a branch change within the same college.

The choice-filling process for internal branch change will be conducted from July 31 to August 1, 2026.

The internal branch change allotment result will be declared on August 3, 2026. This facility allows students to shift to their preferred engineering branch without changing their allotted institute.

1. Log in to dte.mponline.gov.in and check your Round 2 merit rank today.
2. Wait for the seat allotment result to be declared on July 27, 2026.
3. Print the allotment letter from the portal after the result is out.

5. Report to the allotted institute for verification before July 30, 2026.
6. If needed, apply for internal branch change between July 31 and August 1.
