The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has released the MP NEET UG 2026 Round 2 seat matrix on the official portal at dme.mponline.gov.in. The vacancy list covers government and private MBBS seats under the 85 percent state quota. Candidates can view the seat matrix under the Latest Instructions and Seat Matrix tab on the DME MP portal.
The Round 2 seat matrix lists vacant seats remaining after the Round 1 allotment and reporting process. It includes seats across government and private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Category-wise vacancies for General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS candidates are provided in the document. Candidates must review the vacancy list before locking their fresh Round 2 choices.

Who Can Participate in MP NEET UG Round 2?
All eligible candidates registered for MP NEET UG 2026 counselling can participate in Round 2. This includes fresh candidates who did not register in Round 1 and candidates who were not allotted a seat earlier. Round 1 allottees who did not join can also apply for an upgrade or fresh allotment.
Candidates must have a valid NEET UG 2026 scorecard and meet the Madhya Pradesh state eligibility requirements. State domicile rules apply to the 85 percent state quota seats. The All India Quota seats are handled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

- Visit the DME MP counselling portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.
- Click on the Latest Instructions and Seat Matrix tab on the homepage.
- Open the Round 2 vacancy PDF for MBBS courses.
- Check the college-wise and category-wise seat availability.
- Download the seat matrix PDF for reference during choice filling.

How to Fill and Lock Fresh Choices for Round 2?
Fresh choice filling is mandatory for all candidates who wish to be considered in Round 2. Choices submitted during Round 1 will not carry forward to the second round. Candidates must log in to the portal using their MP NEET UG 2026 credentials. They should add colleges and courses in their preferred order and lock the choices before the deadline.
Unlocked choices will be automatically locked when the choice-filling window closes on September 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Candidates are advised to save a copy of their locked choice list. The seat allotment result will be released on September 11, 2026, based on the candidate’s merit, category, seat availability, and locked preferences.
