MCC has released the NEET MDS 2026 Final Seat Matrix at mcc.nic.in. Candidates can check quota-wise and specialty-wise seats before Round 1 choice filling closes on August 23, 2026.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat matrix. It covers NEET MDS 2026 counselling on the official portal mcc.nic.in. NEET MDS is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It selects candidates for Master of Dental Surgery programmes. Candidates can now check specialty-wise and college-wise seat position.
The seat matrix covers 50 percent All India Quota seats. It also includes Deemed and Central University seats. Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) seats are also part of the matrix. Dental colleges have finished verification through the MCC counselling portal.
Only seats verified and frozen by institutes appear in this matrix. MCC has warned that unverified seats will be dropped. Round 1 choice filling closes on August 23, 2026. Registration also ends on the same date at 11 pm.

Seats Covered Under the NEET MDS 2026 Matrix
MCC conducts counselling for four distinct seat categories via one portal. Each category has its own reservation and reporting rule. Candidates must confirm the seat type before locking preferences.
- 50 percent All India Quota seats in government dental colleges
- 100 percent seats in Deemed Universities
- Central University dental college seats
- Armed Forces Medical Services MDS seats
State quota seats cover the remaining 50 percent of colleges. State counselling boards handle these seats separately from MCC. State Round 1 runs from August 21 to September 1, 2026.

How to Check the NEET MDS 2026 Final Seat Matrix?
The seat matrix is a PDF file hosted on the MCC website. Candidates do not need login credentials to view it. Follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the PG Medical Counselling section on the homepage.
- Select the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 tab.
- Open the link titled Final Seat Matrix for Round 1.
- Download the PDF and search by state, college or specialty.
How to Register for NEET MDS 2026 Counselling?
Registration requires a valid NEET MDS 2026 roll number and score. Candidates must pay the counselling fee online through the portal.
- Go to mcc.nic.in and open the NEET MDS 2026 link.
- Complete new candidate registration using NEET MDS credentials.
- Pay the counselling registration and security deposit online.
- Fill and lock college and specialty preferences by August 23.
- Wait for the Round 1 seat allotment result on August 26.
Only seats frozen by colleges through PIADMIN login appear here. Any last-minute seat missed by an institute is dropped from Round 1. This makes the frozen list the single source of truth.
