NBEMS has opened the NEET PG 2026 selective edit window at natboard.edu.in. Candidates can correct deficient photograph, signature and left thumb impression through the Image Scrutiny tab on the applicant dashboard until August 10, 2026.

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice. It has opened the NEET PG 2026 selective edit window for aspirants. The window is live at the official portal, natboard.edu.in. Candidates have time till August 10, 2026 to fix deficient files. The correction facility runs for 11 days in total.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate is India's top medical PG exam. It leads to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB course seats.
The facility is meant for candidates flagged during image scrutiny. Only three files can be corrected in this window. These are the photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. No other application detail can be changed here.
NBEMS has said personal information cannot be updated during this period. Category, test city preferences, and academic details remain locked as well. The board has issued this facility only for image quality issues.
What Fields Are Open for Correction?
NBEMS has listed three specific files that candidates can fix. Any other request will not be processed by the board.
- Photograph flagged as deficient during scrutiny
- Signature that failed the image quality check
- Left thumb impression marked as invalid
Who Can Use the Selective Edit Window?
Only a specific set of candidates can access this correction facility. NBEMS has drawn a clear line on eligibility for the window.
- Registered NEET PG 2026 candidates with completed applications
- Applicants flagged for image deficiency during NBEMS scrutiny
- Candidates who received a notice on their registered email
Candidates whose images cleared scrutiny do not need to log in. The board has not opened the window for full form edits. Only image related corrections are processed in this window.

What Should the Fresh Files Look Like?

- Clear photograph with the face fully visible and centered
- Signature done in running script on white paper
- Left thumb impression that is clean and complete
