NTA has released the revised syllabus for the NEET UG 2024. As per the latest reports the registrations for the NEET UG will begin on January 24.
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release a revised syllabus for the NEET-UG 2024 next week. As per reports, the registration for NEET UG 2024 will start from January 24. Candidates aspiring to appear for the medical entrance test can register through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh stated while talking with Times of India that “NTA will notify NEET-UG syllabus next week so that it helps students in preparation. It will be a reduced syllabus. The students will be getting over six months to plan their studies for the entrance test.”
The NEET UG 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, at various exam centers nationwide. According to NTA reports, the new syllabus is based on inputs from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and in consultations with various Boards that rationalized the senior secondary syllabus during Covid.
NEET UG 2024 Revised Syllabus PDFs
- NEET Physics Syllabus comprises of 20 units.
- 9 units have been deleted from the chemistry syllabus
- A few topics have been deleted from the Biology syllabus
- However, there has been an addition of 6 new topics in the biology section.
- NEET physics syllabus comprises 10 units from class 11, 9 units from class 12, and 1 new unit on experimental skills.

Candidates can follow the below mentioned steps to register for the NEET UG 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET UG, neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the NEET 2024 registration link (once activated).
Step 3: Agee to the terms and conditions by clicking on “I agree” and click on the submit option.
Step 4: Fill the application form with the personal details.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on submit.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the application form for further references.
