The National Insurance Academy Pune has opened PGDM admissions for the 2027-29 batch. Candidates can apply online at pgdm.niapune.org.in until March 15, 2027.
The National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune has opened admissions for its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes for the 2027-29 batch. Candidates can apply through the official portal at pgdm.niapune.org.in. The last date to apply is March 15, 2027. Admission is available across four PGDM streams offered by the institute.
The flagship NIA Pune PGDM in Insurance and Risk Management offers 180 seats. NIA also offers the PGDM in Technology Management with 60 seats and the PGDM for Working Professionals with 30 seats. Additionally, 45 seats are available for international students through the Study in India portal.

NIA Pune PGDM 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a graduate degree with at least 50 percent marks. The upper age limit is 28 years for General, EWS and OBC-NC candidates, while it is 30 years for SC, ST and PWD candidates, as of July 1, 2027.
The PGDM in Technology Management is open only to candidates with a B.E., B.Tech., B.C.A. or B.Sc. in Computer Science degree.

NIA Pune Selection Process
The final merit list is prepared using a weighted score based on five selection parameters. The entrance exam score carries 50 percent weightage, followed by the Personal Interview at 20 percent and the Group Discussion at 15 percent. The candidate’s past academic record contributes 10 percent, while work experience carries 5 percent weightage.

- Register with a valid email ID and verify the account.
- Enter the required personal, academic and entrance exam details.
- Upload the necessary scanned documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee and submit the completed form before March 15, 2027.
NIA Pune reports 100 percent placement since inception of the programme. The 2024-26 batch recorded a highest package of Rs 38.18 LPA. The average package for the batch stood at Rs 12.17 LPA.
