NIT Delhi has released its BTech 2026-27 reporting schedule. Candidates allotted seats through JoSAA, CSAB, DASA and SII must report to the institute between August 13 and August 18, 2026.

The National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi) has released the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) 2026-27 admission reporting schedule on its official website at nitdelhi.ac.in. Candidates who have been allotted seats through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme, and the Supernumerary Indian Institute (SII) route must report to the institute for admission formalities.

As per the official notice, physical reporting at the NIT Delhi campus will be conducted from August 13 to August 18, 2026. The schedule applies to candidates who have already paid the Provisional Admission Fee (PAF) through the JoSAA portal and completed online reporting during the counselling rounds.

Who Needs to Report on These Dates?

The August 13 to 18 window is meant for candidates who have secured a BTech seat at NIT Delhi under any of the following counselling systems.

  • JoSAA 2026 allottees who have paid the Seat Acceptance Fee.
  • CSAB 2026 special round allottees.
  • DASA 2026 UG allottees admitted under the foreign nationals and NRI quota.
  • SII allottees admitted through the Supernumerary Indian Institute scheme.

Candidates who withdraw or upgrade their seat during CSAB special rounds must follow the revised reporting instructions issued later.

How to Complete Physical Reporting at NIT Delhi?

Reporting requires candidates to visit the campus in person with a full set of original documents and their photocopies. The institute will verify the documents before granting admission.

  • Reach the NIT Delhi campus within the reporting window.
  • Submit the printed online admission form to the registration desk.
  • Produce all original documents for verification by officials.
  • Collect the admission acknowledgement slip after verification.
  • Complete the balance fee payment as advised by the institute.

Candidates must carry originals along with two sets of photocopies of the documents listed below.

  • JoSAA, CSAB, DASA or SII seat allotment letter.
  • Provisional Admission Fee payment receipt.
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates.
  • JEE Main 2026 scorecard and admit card.
  • Category certificate, if applicable, in the prescribed format.

  • Recent passport-size colour photographs.
  • Medical fitness certificate as prescribed by NIT Delhi.

The annual BTech fee at NIT Delhi is Rs 1.62 lakh for general category students. The exact break-up including hostel and mess charges will be shared at the time of reporting.
