National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has released the NLSAT 2027 schedule at nls.ac.in. The entrance exam will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2027. It covers admission to four flagship programmes at NLSIU Bengaluru.
The application window will open in November 2026. The last date to apply is March 23, 2027. The academic session for the new batch starts on July 1, 2027.

Programmes Offered Through NLSAT 2027
NLSAT 2027 is the single-window entrance test for four distinct programmes at NLSIU Bengaluru. Each programme targets a different stage of a student's academic journey.
- BA (Hons.): A three-year undergraduate degree with an optional fourth-year research track.
- LL.B. (Hons.): A three-year postgraduate professional law degree.
- Master's in Public Policy (MPP): A two-year interdisciplinary programme.
- PhD Programmes: Doctoral tracks in Law and in Social Sciences, Humanities and Public Policy.

Who Can Apply for NLSAT 2027?
Eligibility varies by each programme offered through NLSAT 2027. Candidates must check the official prospectus before applying. The detailed category-wise criteria will be published with the application form in November 2026.
The three-year LL.B. (Hons.) requires a Bachelor's degree. The MPP track needs a graduate qualification in any discipline. PhD aspirants require a prior law or social sciences qualification from a recognised university.
