The Consortium of NLUs has opened CLAT 2027 registration on August 3 2026. Candidates can apply online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in till October 31 2026. The entrance exam is scheduled on December 6 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has opened CLAT 2027 registration. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) portal went live on August 3, 2026. Candidates can now apply online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT is the single gateway to five year integrated law programmes offered by NLUs.
The last date to apply is October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM. CLAT 2027 will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026. The exam runs from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in a single session.
A total of 26 NLUs will accept CLAT 2027 scores this year. PwD candidates receive extended timing from 2:00 PM to 4:40 PM. The dates and timings remain subject to revision in case of necessity.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
- Candidates must pass Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
- General and OBC candidates need at least 45 percent marks.
- SC and ST candidates need a minimum of 40 percent marks.
- Students appearing in the Class 12 exam in 2027 can also apply.
- There is no upper age limit for the UG programme.

Documents Required for CLAT 2027 Application

How to Apply for CLAT 2027?

What Happens After You Submit the Form?
Applicants receive a confirmation on their registered email after submission. The consortium releases the admit card in the weeks before the exam. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the same official portal.
Result declaration follows the exam as per the official schedule. Merit lists and counselling notifications appear on the consortium website. Seat allotment then happens through the centralised counselling process across participating NLUs.
