Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) has opened Postgraduate (PG) admissions for the July 2026 session. The online application form is live at pg.wbnsouadmissions.com. The application window opened on July 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Candidates can submit the online application form till August 17, 2026, by 9:00 PM. Applicants will get time till August 18, 2026, to upload the required documents. The fee payment window will close on August 19, 2026, at 9:00 PM.

The application processing fee is Rs 275 per candidate. Payment can be made through online or offline modes via Indian Bank. Online payment options include Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, and UPI.

NSOU offers admission through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The programmes are recognised by the University Grants Commission Distance Education Bureau (UGC DEB). Candidates from West Bengal as well as other states can apply from any location.

NSOU PG Programmes Offered 2026

NSOU has invited applications across a wide range of Postgraduate (PG) disciplines. Candidates can choose from Arts, Science, Commerce, and Professional programmes.

How to Apply for NSOU PG Admission 2026?

The entire application process is conducted online through the official NSOU admission portal. Follow these steps:

  • Visit the official admission portal at pg.wbnsouadmissions.com.
  • Register using a valid email ID and active mobile number.
  • Log in and fill in your personal, academic, and programme details.
  • Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and academic marksheets.
  • Enter the DEB ID issued through the UGC DEB portal.
  • Pay the Rs 275 application processing fee using online payment or Indian Bank challan.
  • Download and save the final submitted application form for future reference.
Why DEB ID Is Mandatory

Every applicant must obtain and verify a UGC DEB ID before September 2 2026. The DEB ID is now compulsory for enrolment in any Open and Distance Learning programme in India. Without it, the NSOU admission cannot be confirmed.
