PES University Bangalore will hold the first round of PESU KCET counselling for B.Tech admissions 2026 on August 16 at the RR Campus. Only candidates with PESU KCET ranks 1 to 3,500 are eligible to attend the in-person session.
PES University Bangalore has scheduled the first round of the PES University Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PESU KCET) counselling for B.Tech admissions 2026 on August 16, 2026. The counselling will be held at the Ring Road (RR) Campus, Banashankari, Bengaluru. Eligible candidates must attend in person and cannot report online.
Only candidates holding PESU KCET ranks between 1 and 3,500 are permitted for the first round. Candidates ranked above 3,500 will not be admitted to this session. Attendance must be confirmed through the official portal at admissions.pes.edu under the Next Steps tab.
The overall B.Tech admissions cycle for 2026-27 remains open. Registrations began on September 5, 2025, and the final window closes on June 30, 2026. This year, the university admits students only through JEE Main and KCET scores.

PES University KCET Session-Wise Reporting Schedule
The university has split candidates into two sessions based on PESU KCET rank. Each candidate must report only at the assigned session time. Late arrivals may lose their seat allocation slot.

PES University KCET Demand Draft Requirement by Branch
All demand drafts (DDs) must be drawn in favour of PES University, Bangalore. The DDs are collected only after a candidate accepts a seat. Unused DDs are returned to the candidate during the same visit.

Candidates upgrading from an Early Admissions Commitment or PESU JEE seat may need extra DDs. Those surrendering an earlier PES seat must repay the full DD amount as per the official notice.

Candidates must carry all originals along with two self-attested photocopies of each document. Missing originals can lead to rejection at the verification desk.

- Transfer Certificate or College Leaving Certificate

How Does the PES University KCET Counselling Process Work on the Day?
The full process takes about four to five hours per candidate. It runs in three broad stages at the Ring Road Campus.
- Registration and document verification at the Golden Jubilee Block.
- Seat selection based on rank followed by DD submission at the counter.
- Collection of the welcome kit and final admission confirmation.
Candidates in the Higher Fee Category are exempt from DD submission. They must instead carry the original fee receipt at the time of reporting.
PES University fills a large share of B.Tech seats through its own PESU KCET rank list, separate from KEA counselling. Missing the August 16 in-person round can push aspirants to later rounds where preferred branches may be closed.
