Pune University Final Year Exam 2020 Hall Ticket Released; Timetable yet not declared

25 September 2020: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has released the hall tickets for the final year examination 2020. The exams are scheduled to be held between 5 October to 30 October in online mode. The schedule and time table for the exam is yet to be announced.

SPPU students remain in doubt as the university hasn't declared the schedule and time table for the exams. The admit card has been made available to download for registered students.

Pune University Final Year Exams 2020 Details

Out of 3.64 Lakh students of SPPU, more than 2.23 Lakh students have enrolled in the examination. Many students from other states and countries also registered in colleges affiliated to the varsity.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, SPPU will conduct the examination through online means and has multiple-choice questions. The final year exam will have a question paper of 50 marks for each subject. The SPPU exam duration will be 1 hour.

Referring to the delay in the timetable, Mahesh Kakade, the controller of examinations at SPPU said: "We are in the process of getting a question bank from professors. Once that is finalized, we can set the exam dates".

"Before 100 per cent work is completed, it is not correct to announce a timetable" he added.

When asked about the examination dates, Vice-Chancellor of the university DR Nitin Karmalkar, however, accepted that there has been a delay in the announcement and called it unfortunate. 

The exam authorities will be completing the remaining exam work within a few days and release the timetable, he stated.
