How Is the Final Rank Calculated?
The final composite score is not based only on the entrance test. NCERT uses a weighted formula for the ranking process.
The RIE CEE score carries 60 percent weightage in the final calculation. The qualifying examination marks, usually Class 12, carry 40 percent weightage. This composite score decides the merit position for counselling.
RIE programmes are among the few integrated teacher education courses run directly by NCERT. Graduates are trained under the national school curriculum framework and are considered a strong feeder pool for CBSE and KVS teaching roles.
