As for practical assessments, the students will not be required to physically visit the laboratories. According to N S Umrani, the pro-vice chancellor SPPU, the assessment will take place through an alternative method consisting of assignment submissions as well as conducting seminars or presentations.
Students from professional UG and PG courses will be evaluated on the basis of the syllabus covered up to March 13, 2020. This means that the syllabus for the exams is about 60% of the entire syllabus for the professional courses.
For B.A, B.Sc and other conventional courses, students will have to prepare 100% of the syllabus, since it has already been covered fully. Exams for the same had also already begun prior to the nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19.
