The Selection Committee has extended the Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 registration and choice filling deadline to August 19 at 5 PM. Candidates can now apply at tnmedicalselection.net.
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu has extended the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling 2026 Round 1 registration deadline on its official portal at tnmedicalselection.net. Candidates can now complete registration, fee payment and choice filling until August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
The Selection Committee has also released the revised Round 1 schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions. The extension follows requests from candidates seeking more time to complete choice filling and locking. All aspirants who cleared NEET UG 2026 and are eligible under Tamil Nadu state quota can register for the counselling process.

Registration Fee and Security Deposit
The Selection Committee has retained the fee structure from the original notification. Candidates must pay the registration fee online while applying through the official portal.
