TANCET 2026 MBA Tentative Allotment Released at tn-mbamca.com; Check Steps to Confirm Allotment

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai has released the TANCET 2026 MBA tentative allotment on the official portal at tn-mbamca.com. Candidates who participated in the online choice-filling round can now check the seat allotted to them based on their rank, preferences, and category.

Candidates must log in using their registered User ID and password to check the tentative allotment. The allotment confirmation window will close on August 7, 2026. Candidates who fail to confirm their allotment before the deadline will lose the allotted seat and will not be considered for the provisional allotment.

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted by Anna University for admission to MBA and MCA programmes offered by participating institutes across Tamil Nadu. The counselling process is centrally coordinated by DoTE Chennai through the tn-mbamca portal.

How to Confirm the TANCET 2026 MBA Tentative Allotment?

Candidates must complete the allotment confirmation process online before the deadline. Follow the steps given below:

1. Visit the official login portal at tn-mbamca.com/user/login.
2. Log in using your registered User ID or email address and password.
3. Open the tentative allotment section available on the candidate dashboard.
4. Check the college and MBA programme allotted based on your rank.
5. Click on the Confirm option to accept the tentative allotment.
6. Download and save the allotment confirmation slip for future reference.

After confirmation, the provisional allotment order will be issued through the same candidate login. Candidates must then complete the self-reporting, fee payment, and admission formalities mentioned on the counselling portal.

What Happens If You Do Not Confirm by August 7?

Candidates who do not confirm their tentative allotment by August 7, 2026, will be treated as having withdrawn from the current counselling round.

The allotted seat will be released back into the vacant-seat pool, and the candidate will not be permitted to claim the same allotment later.

Candidates who miss the confirmation deadline may participate in the TANCET MBA supplementary counselling, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions and availability of seats.

The supplementary counselling for MBA candidates is scheduled to be conducted in offline mode on August 7 and August 8, 2026, at Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, according to the official counselling schedule.

5. Arrange the initial college fee as per the allotment order.
6. Track the portal for the provisional allotment order release.
