The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has released the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 provisional seat allotment for Master of Computer Applications (MCA) admissions. The allotment is now live on the official counselling portal at tn-mbamca.com. Allotted candidates can log in with their TANCET credentials to download the provisional allotment order.

The direct login window is open at tn-mbamca.com/user/login. Candidates must use their application number and password to sign in. The allotment order is available on the candidate dashboard for download.

TANCET 2026 was conducted by Anna University on May 9, 2026. The centralised counselling covers MCA seats across government, aided, and self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu. Allotments are made based on the candidate’s TANCET rank, choices filled, category, and available seat matrix.

• Download the provisional allotment order and save a copy.

What Should Allotted Candidates Do Next?

The provisional allotment is only the first step. Candidates must confirm their allotted seat within the deadline specified on the portal. Missing the confirmation window will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Allotted candidates must pay the initial tuition fee online through the counselling portal. They must then report to the allotted institution with all the original documents. The college will complete the final admission process after physical document verification.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in this round can appear for supplementary counselling. The offline supplementary counselling for MCA will be held at the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, on August 10, 2026.
