Telangana board online classes which were scheduled to start from August 17, 2020 have been extended. The board issued a notification stating that the dates to start digital classes for class 11 and 12 have been extended. New dates will be announced later.
The notification regarding the commencement of classes was announced on the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The government also extended the starting of online classes for classes 6-10 that were supposed to begin on 20th August 2020. Online teaching for other classes may commence on 1st September 2020.
The notification also stated that the online classes will be conducted via T-Sat network channels and on Doordarshan. Teachers are also required to maintain a mandatory attendance of 50%.
Students awaiting their admission to class 11 after completion on their class 10 boards can start the admission process from 1st September.
For admission to degree courses in colleges, the DOST website will facilitate the process for all aspirants 20th August onwards. The TS EAMCET exams will also be conducted beginning in the 2nd week of Semester
