TG CPGET 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment Released; Check Last Date for Self-Reporting

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TG CPGET) 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment result on the official portal at cpget.tgche.ac.in. Candidates who participated in the web options round can now check their allotted seats.

Selected candidates must pay the tuition fee and complete self-reporting through the website by September 21, 2026. Phase 2 registrations will begin on September 22, 2026 on the same portal.

The counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, for admissions to postgraduate programmes across nine participating state universities in Telangana.

How to Check TG CPGET 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates can follow these steps to view and download their allotment order.

1. Visit the official portal at cpget.tgche.ac.in.
2. Click on the Phase 1 seat allotment link on the homepage.
3. Enter your CPGET hall ticket number and date of birth.
4. Submit the details to view your allotment order.
5. Download the allotment letter and save a printout for admission use.

How to Complete Fee Payment and Self-Reporting?

Allotted candidates must confirm the seat online through the portal. The process must be completed before the September 21 deadline to avoid cancellation.

1. Log in to the portal using your CPGET credentials.
2. Open the fee payment section on your dashboard.
3. Pay the tuition fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
4. Complete self-reporting by confirming your allotted seat online.
5. Download the self-reporting receipt for the physical reporting stage.

What Happens if You Miss the September 21 Deadline?

Candidates who fail to pay the fee and self-report by September 21 will lose their Phase 1 allotted seat. Such candidates can still participate in Phase 2 by registering afresh from September 22. However, seat availability in Phase 2 depends on vacancies left after Phase 1 reporting.

Phase 2 Counselling Schedule

Phase 2 opens on September 22, 2026 for candidates who did not get a seat in Phase 1. It is also open to those unhappy with their Phase 1 allotment who choose to forgo it. The Directorate will release a fresh notification with the full Phase 2 timeline on the portal.
