AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling Schedule Out; Check Registration Start Date

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the AP PGECET 2026 First Phase counselling schedule. Eligible candidates can complete online certificate verification registration and fee payment through the Common Admissions Portal at cap.apcfss.in from September 16 to September 21, 2026.

The counselling process is being conducted for admission to postgraduate engineering, technology, pharmacy and related programmes offered by state universities and their affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh. Candidates possessing a valid AP PGECET 2026 rank or qualifying GATE/GPAT score can participate in the admission process.

AP PGECET 2026 First Phase Counselling Important Dates

Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, certificate uploading and web option entry within the announced schedule. The submitted web options can be modified only on September 25, 2026. The AP PGECET 2026 seat allotment result will be released on September 29, 2026.

Who Can Participate in AP PGECET 2026 Counselling?

Candidates must possess a valid AP PGECET 2026 rank card or an eligible GATE/GPAT score. They must also hold the required qualifying degree in the relevant engineering, technology or pharmacy discipline.

Candidate eligibility, local status and reservation claims will be checked during the online certificate verification process. Admission will be subject to the rules prescribed by APSCHE for the 2026–27 academic session.

AP PGECET 2026 Counselling Processing Fee

Candidates must pay the applicable non-refundable processing fee during online registration:

• OC and BC candidates: Rs 1,200
• SC and ST candidates: Rs 600

The fee can be paid online through a debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Registration will not be considered complete without successful fee payment.

How to Register for AP PGECET 2026 Counselling?

1. Visit the official Common Admissions Portal at cap.apcfss.in.
2. Select AP PGECET – Technical PG Admissions.
3. Click the candidate registration link.
4. Enter the required hall ticket, rank and personal details.
5. Pay the applicable counselling processing fee.
6. Upload scanned copies of the required certificates.
7. Check the certificate verification status online.
8. Submit college and course preferences during the web options entry window.
9. Download the seat allotment order on September 29, 2026.
10. Complete self-joining and college reporting between September 30 and October 3, 2026.
