TS LAWCET 2026 Phase 2 Reporting Deadline Extended to September 9; Check Reporting Steps

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has extended the reporting deadline for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2026 Phase 2. Candidates can now report until September 9, 2026. The updated notice is available at lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The earlier reporting deadline was September 5, 2026.

The extension applies to all candidates allotted seats during Phase 2 counselling. Both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses are covered. Candidates now have four additional days to complete physical reporting at their allotted college.

Who Is Affected by the Extension?

The extension covers every candidate allotted a seat in Phase 2, including candidates from both LLB streams under TS LAWCET counselling. Candidates who miss the September 9 deadline will lose their allotted seats. They will also be ineligible to participate in the Final Phase counselling round.

TGCHE has clearly mentioned the consequences in the official notice. Candidates who fail to report will not be allowed to participate in the Final Phase. Candidates whose Phase 2 seats are cancelled will face the same restriction. Therefore, September 9, 2026, is the final opportunity for Phase 2 candidates to confirm their admission.

Where Phase 2 Fits in the Counselling Cycle

TS LAWCET 2026 counselling is conducted in three phases across Telangana. Phase 1 was the initial seat allotment round, while the Phase 2 seat allotment result was released on August 29, 2026. The Final Phase will be the third and concluding counselling round.

Each phase has a separate web-option entry and seat-allotment process. A seat allotted during Phase 2 remains valid only if the candidate reports to the college within the prescribed deadline. Failure to report will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Which LLB Courses Are Covered?

TS LAWCET 2026 covers two law programme streams. The 3-year LLB is intended for candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline. The 5-year LLB is an integrated law programme available to candidates after Class 12. Both programmes use the same Phase 2 seat-allotment portal.

What Happens If You Skip Reporting?

Candidates who fail to report by the deadline will face two direct consequences. Their Phase 2 allotted seat will be cancelled, and they will also be barred from participating in the Final Phase counselling. There is no separate appeal window for candidates who miss the reporting deadline.
