    TS LAWCET 2020 exam date has been announced. The paper will now be conducted on October 9, 2020. The paper will be conducted in two shifts in a day, majorly in the state of Telangana, but also in few exam centers of Andhra Pradesh.

    The application form submission date with late fee of Rs.4000 has been extended till September 20, 2020. TS LAWCET 2020 Form Correction facility will open from September 20  – 25, 2020. The decision was taken to encourage more students to apply for the test with the exam getting further postponed. Click here to apply

    TS LAWCET is a state-level entrance exam to grant admission in 5-year and 3-year LLB programs offered by colleges in the state of Telangana.

    • TS LAECET 2020 Hall Ticket will be released on October 03, 2020. 
    • As per TS LAWCET 2020 Eligibility, intermediate graduates can apply for 5-year law program whereas bachelor’s degree holders can apply for 3-year LLB Program. 
    • It will be a 90-minute long Computer Based Test having 120 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. There is no provision of negative marking in the exam.
    • Exam Pattern consists of questions to test candidate’s mental ability, general knowledge, current affairs and aptitude for study of law. 
    • Candidates can email at tslawcet2020@gmail.com to raise request for Category 1 form correction​ (personal and academic details). Supporting documents have to be submitted along with the filled in application form.

    TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria

    TS LAWCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility for the law entrance exam is prescribed by TSCHE. As the examination is conducted for 3 year LLB course or 5 year LLB course, the criteria also varies. A brief about the same is tabulated below:

    3 Year LLBGraduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates). In case a candidate has scored less than 45% in qualifying exam, he/she should have passed an additional degree with minimum 45% marks.
    5 Year LLBIntermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized Board with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates).

    TS LAWCET Application Form

    Nationality: Indian nationals who satisfy domicile status as described by Telangana State Educational Institutions, 1974 amendment.

    TS LAWCET 2020 Application Process

    Candidates willing to appear for Telangana State Common Law Entrance Test have to go through 3 steps to Register for the exam. Pay the prescribed application fee, Fill detls and Register and upoad documents. It is advised to enter credible information to avoid disqualification at any state of application.   

    Documents Required for TS LAWCET Registration 

    The application forms for the exam have been made available for filling since March 6, 2020. Candidates must keep the following documents and information handy during the form filling process:

    • Offline Payment Receipt received from Telangana State Citizen Service Centers (in case of offline application fee payment).
    • All Academic Mark sheet and Certificates up to the qualifying exam.
    • Birth Certificate or Secondary School Certificate.
    • Income Certificate issued by competent authority (If annual income of parents is less than INR 2,00,000).
    • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).
    • Special Category Certificate (NCC, Sports, CAP, etc.) issued by competent authority (if applicable).

    Steps to fill TS LAWCET Application Form

    1. Visit the official website lawcet.tsche.ac.in and Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab.
    2. Fees for TS LAWCET 2020 can be filled in both online (Credit/ Debit Cards or Net Banking) and offline (through Telangana State Online Centers/Citizen Service Centers). Check Fee Payment status as well.
    3. Fill the details as per the instructions like personal and academic qualifications in the form
    4. Upload the necessary documents.
    5. Recheck details entered and submit the TS LAWCET 2020 Application Form after obtaining a print of the same for future reference.

    TS LAWCET 2020 Admit Card

    Candidates who successfully register for the exam will be issued their TS LAWCET 2020 hall ticket from second week of June 2020. Admit Card of TS LAWCET 2020 will carry candidate’s details, exam center and exam day instructions. Steps to download the document are:

    1. Visit the official website of TS LAWCET 2020, i.e. lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
    2. Click on ‘Download TS LAWCET 2020 Hall Ticket’ tab
    3. Enter the issued application number, DOB and program opted and then click on ‘Get Hall Ticket’ tab.
    4. Admit Card will be displayed on-screen.
    5. Download, save and print the document for future reference.
    Note: Make sure to preserve the document till the admissions are confirmed.

    TS LAWCET 2020 Exam Centers

    Applicants can, during the application process, select their choice of exam center. The allocation of the exam center is done by exam conducting authority on the basis of the candidate’s preference. However, the authority’s decision in this regard is final and binding on all.

    The scope of the topics covered in TS LAWCET entrance exam is tabulated here. For the 5-year program, the level of questions will be of intermediate level while for the 3-year program, the expected standard of questions will be of the Undergraduate degree level.

    TS LAWCET 2020 Result dates will be announced on the official website. A few important points to note about TS LAWCET 2020 Result are:

    • Prior to the declaration of the results, TSCHE will release the preliminary answer key.
    • Candidates are allowed to challenge the Answer key in a short window of 3-4 days .
    • Soon after, the final answer key will be released followed by TS LAWCET 2020 Results.

    Candidates can access their results from the official website with the following steps:

    3. Enter Application Number and Date of Birth and click ‘Get Results’ tab.

    About TS LAWCET 2020 Cutoff

    • TSCHE specifies cut off score for the counseling process.
    • A candidate has to score at least 35% in TS LAWCET 2020 in order to be eligible for counselling, the score works out as 42 of 120.
    • There is no specific relaxation in cut-off for SC/ST candidates.
    • Candidates also need to meet the individual cut-off scores released by the respective colleges in order to secure admission in the programs offered by them.

    TS LAWCET 2020 Counselling

    TS LAWCET 2020 counselling is expected to commence in October 2020, post declaration of results. The process is completely online and only candidates having a valid TS LAWCET rank are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. The steps involved in the Online Counselling Process are:

    1. Visit the official website of TS LAWCET 2020, i.e. lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
    2. Click on ‘Counselling 2020’ tab.
    3. Candidates need to enter their TS LAWCET hall ticket number, rank and mobile number as instructed on the webpage.
    4. A list of available courses and colleges is displayed on-screen from which the applicants need to select their preferred course and college.
    5. Once candidates are satisfied with their selections they need to click on the Confirm/Submit button. Candidates are advised to obtain a print of the selections made in TS LAWCET online counselling process.
    6. Upon submission of the options selected by the candidates, a confirmation SMS will be received on the registered mobile number.
    7. Next, candidates need to download and print their provisional allotment letter which they need to present for admission.

    Ans. TSCHE has revised exam dates for 2020 session of TS LAWCET. It will now be conducted on July 10, 2020. Earlier it was scheduled to take place on May 25, 2020.

    Hello Pawan, For LLB -3 year course-A candidate should be minimum of 21 years of age at the time of the exam. The age limit will be counted up to December 31, 2018. There is no upper age limit for Ts LAWCET.

    For 3 year LLB Program – Maximum age to appear for the program is 30 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST candidates.

    For 5 year LLB Program – Maximum age to register for TS LAWCET 2018 5 year LLB program is 20 years. However, there is a relaxation of 2 years for SC/ ST candidates.

    Hello Afreen, To get admission in osmania university Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category must have a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam and Candidates of SC/ST category are required to have a minimum of 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
