The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the Round 3 seat allotment. The result was published on June 10, 2026, at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The list covers the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 Bachelor of Design (BDes) admissions.

UCEED 2026 BDes Seat Acceptance Fee
Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online to confirm their allotted seat. The amount depends on the candidate category, as shown below.

The acceptance fee gets adjusted against the institute fee on joining. Payment is completed online through the link in the allotment notification.

What Do FREEZE and FLOAT Options Mean?
Candidates allotted their first-preference institute can either accept or decline. A decline ends their participation in further rounds. Those allotted a lower-preference seat get two acceptance options.
The FREEZE option locks the current allotted seat as final. The FLOAT option accepts the seat but keeps the candidate eligible for later upgrades. FLOAT candidates do not pay the acceptance fee again on upgrade.

Why This Matters from Round 3 Onwards
Acceptance fees from Rounds 1 and 2 were refundable on withdrawal. From Round 3 onwards, the seat acceptance fee becomes non-refundable. Withdrawal returns the seat but not the money paid.
