WBSU has released the MBA 2026 first provisional selection list on wbsuadmission.com. Shortlisted candidates must complete online admission and fee deposition by July 21 2026. The second merit list will be released on July 22 2026.
West Bengal State University (WBSU) has released the MBA selection list. The first provisional selection list is available at wbsuadmission.com. It covers admission to the MBA 2026-28 programme. The list was published after 12 noon on July 17, 2026.
Shortlisted candidates must complete the online admission process by July 21, 2026. They must also deposit the admission fee within the same window. WBSU will publish the second provisional selection list on July 22, 2026. Admission against the second list will close on July 24, 2026.
The merit list has been prepared purely on the basis of the Admission Test score. WBSU conducted the MBA Admission Test on July 15, 2026. The test was held for one hour, from 2 PM to 3 PM.

WBSU MBA 2026 Seat Matrix

Who Is Eligible for WBSU MBA 2026 Admission?
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks. A relaxation of five percent is available for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
OBC applicants must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
A qualifying score in CAT, MAT, XMAT, GMAT or GATE is desirable. However, it is not mandatory for admission.
How to Check the WBSU MBA 2026 Selection List?
Candidates can check the first provisional selection list through the official admission portal. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official portal at wbsuadmission.com.
- Click on the “1st Provisional Selection List” link on the homepage.
- Search for the application number or roll number in the list.
- Download the selection list for future reference.

How to Complete Online Admission and Fee Deposit?
Selected candidates must log in to the WBSU admission portal to confirm their seats. The admission and fee payment window for the first list closes on July 21, 2026.

- Enter the application ID and password to sign in.
- Verify the personal and academic details displayed on the dashboard.
- Pay the prescribed admission fee through the online payment gateway.
- Download the fee receipt and admission confirmation slip.

WBSU picks its MBA cohort purely on the Admission Test score. Candidates who miss the fee window forfeit their list one seat. The vacated seats then move to list two applicants.
