How good is PDPU Gandhinagar?
One of my friends studied at PDPU Gandhinagar. According to him, it, like any other college, has its fair share of pros and cons.
- PDPU has a well established infrastructure, with all the necessary facilities available for the students.
- It provides students enough industrial exposure to familiarize themselves with the functioning of the industries in the real world.
- They encourage students to participate in club activities like sports, cultural, technical, etc.
- The college supports students pursuing a research career, both academically and financially.
- The whole campus is wifi enabled.

Is Sikkim Manipal University good for a B.Tech??
No, the administration is not particularly the best at Sikkim Manipal University. I know a few people from the institute and here is what they had to say about the institute.
- There is a huge locational disadvantage of the university, given the constant issues faced by students. Recently, they have installed an ATM machine.
- The mess of the institute is not in its best condition. It is run by local people. They do not especially get concerned about the complaints students usually submit. The quality of food is not good even though they take exorbitant amounts of money for the food.
- The administration doesn’t take the necessary steps to resolve the issues raised by students.
- According to one of my friends from the CSE department they were not allowed to take industrial training from other companies.
- The professors are not gonna invest much of their time in your project. However, your project may get rejected for silly mistakes.
- Recently, in terms of placement, TCS rejected SMIT, while Amazon only hired students as their interns. The placement scenario is not good.

Is it worth joining KLE Technological University?
Yes, it is worth joining the KLE Technological University. One of my friends graduated from KLETECH and here are some snippets of his experience at the institute.
- College Management - The staff in the administration especially the vice-chancellor, has great aspirations. They are trying to introduce new education methods like flipped classrooms, practical learning, industry-collaborated projects.
- Faculty - The faculties are very cooperative. They try to finish the syllabus in time.
- Atmosphere - The college atmosphere encourages you to pursue whatever you want. If you want to start a company you can take the help of CTIE. If you have a start-up plan, you can take help from startup street.
- Students - Fellow students are friendly with almost no raggings. Girls-Boys interaction is a bit less.
Placements - The placement percent is increasing every year for CSE, ECE, and EEE but the Mechanical branch is struggling a bit because of the less market demand.
- Top recruiters are Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Hexaware, Mindtree, Wipro, EVRY, DCX Technologies, etc. The top roles offered are developer, programmer, cybersecurity, etc.
- Vikas classes are of great help to the students in terms of placements but effective only in the 6th sem.

Which are the best colleges for MBA in International business from India?
For an MBA in International Business, IIFT i.e. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is the best. It offers a specialization in International Business only.
IIFT has 3 campuses in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada. The total intake for these 3 campuses is 420.

Placements at the Computer Science department are quite good in IISc Bangalore.
CS postgraduates interested in high quality R&D in the industry receive good job opportunities at IBM India Research Lab, Xerox Research Center India, and several other research labs. MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, EBay and NVidia recruit a large number of students from the department. Apart from them, startups offer attractive job profiles and exciting remuneration packages to CS students. How is ISME in Bangalore?
A relative of mine attended ISME Bangalore. He was a part of the 2010 Marketing batch.The institute was recently established back then, only a couple of batches old. Here is a brief review of the institute based on his experience at the institute.
- They had faculties from IIMs and reputed B-schools like SP Jain, etc. Overall the faculty base was pretty great and the members were quite cooperative. My relative completed almost 40 presentations during his time at the institute.
- However, in terms of placements, the institute lags behind. The recruiting companies they bring on the campus placement drive are not that great. From my relatives batch, only a few students from the Finance specialization were able to get good placements.

What is the placement record of BBD University, Lucknow?
It feels nice to be answering a question on Quora about BBD. This question stuck me while scrolling through the feed. There are a lot of speculations and reviews are doing rounds about several engineering colleges including Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow.
I am quite aware of all the conditions and quality of education at BBD because my sister graduated from there. She was in the 2015 pass out batch.

The faculty there is determined, sincere, punctual and very cooperative. Result of which is successful students who get placed in big firms and MNCs during campus placements and interviews. Moreover, the fact that it lays emphasis on a green culture makes it all the more beautiful place to stay and study. Senior students assist the juniors in their study projects and assignments and a large number of internships are offered. They have shown to have quite promising campus placements in the last couple of years.
What is it like to be a professor at IIT Delhi?
My friends' father is a newly recruited assistant professor at IIT Delhi and shared his experience of the same over tea.

- No extravagant salary is offered but that’s not what professors are usually after
- A new apartment has been built to accommodate faculty
- Every professor gets his own private space in the form of a small office
Coursework
- Professors also have a lot of burden and each professor is expected to take one B.Tech and one M.Tech level course in 1 semester. There are around 42 lectures in a semester.
- The professors are free to determine the pedagogy as the exam papers are set and checked by them only. Even the mode of evaluation can be altered according to their will.
- Some professors don’t even take exams and evaluate students' performance based on class participation and term papers.
Research
- Being a prestigious engineering institute, IIT Delhi is responsible for heaps of research work for the Government e.g Delhi Metro, BRT, Ganga Action Plan, etc.
- The professors-industry interaction is very low
- You get plenty of time to pursue your research work
Career prospects
Professors are of different levels: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor.
The promotion depends on the quality of your research work. Overall, the experience is a mix of research and taking classes simultaneously with a lot of free time in your hand.
Is Jadavpur University better than NIT Durgapur? If yes, which stream would be preferred?
Both the colleges have their pros and cons. Your choice of college should be based on branch. I did my Mechanical from NIT Durgapur and my friend did his Mechanical from Jadavpur University. I am eligible to answer this question.
First of all, JU is much higher in ranking than NIT Durgapur. Also, the fees at JU are way more affordable. As JU is located in Kolkata, IT companies visit the campus more often. As far as core courses are concerned, the faculty for ME especially, is good at both the colleges. But core placements are much better at NIT Durgapur because PSUs visit the campus. On the other hand, JU students have to sit for GATE.
If you wish to study CS, IT or ECE, choose Jadavpur University without second thought. As far as core jobs are concerned, choose NIT Durgapur.
