When it comes to comparing IIM Ranchi and MDI Murshidabad, there are a few key factors to consider. In terms of brand value among IIMs, IIM Ranchi may be considered better. However, it's worth noting that the fees at MDI Murshidabad are lower than those at IIM Ranchi.
One important consideration is the infrastructure of the two institutes. MDI Murshidabad has its own campus and hostel facilities onsite, while IIM Ranchi does not have a campus. This may be a factor for students who prefer on-campus housing. Additionally, while IIM Ranchi is known for its HRM program, MDI Murshidabad may be considered better for other specializations. Ultimately, the decision between these two institutes will depend on the individual student's priorities and needs.
MDI Gurgaon is better than IIM Ranchi. In terms of placements and alumni base, there are significant differences between these two institutes. MDI is an older B-School with a well-developed alumni network. The brand name of MDI is widely reputed in the industry.
It has a stellar placement record. Around 87 recruiters took part in MDI Gurgaon placements in 2022. The median CTC offered this year was INR 23.50 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 1.14 CPA. Google, Adobe, HCL, and Microsoft were the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
A friend of mine who studies at Jain University says the faculty is decent but if you are mainly looking for placements, there is no guarantee. There are quite a few IT jobs available but since Bangalore is the Silicon City of the country, you will probably not get placements in core areas.
From what information was shared with me, the hostel fees and tuition fees are also quite high. Plus, admission to the university is also given directly by filling up the application form or you can even give the COMEDK, KCET exam or contact the college directly.
Infrastructure-wise, the college is definitely good with five-star facilities in your hostel rooms and Bangalore city to explore. But, you have to pay for almost everything.
You will see a diverse crowd in the college including a few Africans too. However, you will probably not be able to gain industry-relevant skills that might help boost your career. Overall, it is an okay university.
One of my seniors from school used to be a student of Sharda University and from what she has told me, the university has very good campus and the hostel facilities are some of the best he has come across. She spent a week thereafter graduation. Some of the features are:
Greater Noida is developed and if you are an outsider it would be a good idea if you take the hostel right after admission. The infrastructure of the university is amazing and there are AC/non AC rooms in the hostels as well. In addition to that, there are attached as well as common washrooms for the students. The hostels have laundries too where the first few washes are free for the students.
You can definitely join NITIE as a fresher. You will have ample learning and placement opportunities at NITIE.
NITIE has placements at par with any other B school in India. NITIE is one of very few B-schools that conduct separate lateral and common placement processes for experienced and fresher. Also, NITIE has a magnificent ROI.
In case your academic record is not good and you have no prior work experience then it’s better to join a job and prepare for next year’s CAT. You can’t improve your academics but this way, you can improve your overall profile.
So, choose the option that suits you best.
NITIE has one of the best B-school campuses in the country. It is known for Supply Chain and Operations Management. Alumni of NITIE is running the major firms of Supply Chains in the world. It has a very strong and widespread alumni network.
Following are some good points of studying at NITIE:
NITIE has consistently maintained a 100% placement record with an average salary package of around 19-20 LPA. The highest package offered goes as high as INR 55 LPA.
Giants like Amazon, Flipkart, BMW, Shell, Hindustan Unilever, Maersk, Walmart, ITC, Uber, Ola, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, P&G, Nestle, J&J, Yes bank, Axis bank, ICICI Bank, Airtel, Johnson & Johnson, Asian Paints, Marico, Landmark group, etc come for summer internships and final placements.
NITIE Mumbai is renowned for its program in Supply Chain and Operations Management. The alumni are currently part of significant firms across the world. The alumni base is both gigantic and spread across different parts of the world.
Apart from this, the institute has a great ROI as the course fee for a whole 2 years is almost 8 Lakhs, which is typically less as opposed to various other top B-schools. It gives a chance of lesser concerns related to the reimbursement of loans once you begin earning after completion of the course.
As one of my friends studied at NITIE Mumbai, I can share some details about the institute that stands out among others, according to them. His experience revolved around these things -
Personality Development
Culture
These are the basic elements that shape an individual's personality according to the interpersonal level.
