When I search the net AIIMS Raipur have great facilities but it is less prefered than AIIMS Rishikesh. Why is there some problems with AIIMS Raipur?
It’s true that AIIMS Raipur is less preferred among the AIIMS. However, the hospital facilities and the patient load that they cater to are pretty good. Also, the campus is within the city, which is a plus point. But the campus facilities are not that good. The hostels are situated 1-2 km away from the main campus. The sports facilities on campus are also not that good. Also, there are rumors about the existence of the Naxalite community in the region. There are some of the reasons why students prefer other AIIMS over the Raipur campus.

I am a former resident of Chhattisgarh and can comment on this question easily. Well, the biggest reason why students don’t prefer Raipur despite it having great facilities is that most people consider it unsafe for students. The whole of Chhattisgarh is believed to have been dominated by “Naxalites".
However, this is just a misconception as Naxalites are there only in Bastar, Dantewada district, and in the Manpur-Mohla-chowki-chhuriya regions of Rajnandgaon district. Additionally, Naxalites don’t attack common citizens and are only after politicians and policemen. Also, the government is taking measures to eradicate them completely.
Unlike the general opinion, Chhattisgarh is absolutely safe for students so you can consider it for your studies and rest assured.
After earning a master's of science in physics from IIT Roorkee, is there any chance of me getting placed anywhere?
The chances of placement for an MSc in Physics student at IIT Roorkee depend on his mode of admission.
Through JEE: If you have taken admission through JEE, you are well-versed in more than just physics. Your knowledge base comprises math, electronics, computer programming, etc. You can use these in your favor to secure a decent job in the industry or IT. To enter the IT sector, opt for extra courses like DBMS as audit courses as these might improve your credibility during the interviews.
Through JAM: If you got admission through JAM and try looking for some good internship opportunities or sit for some competitive exams to appear more employable. You can also enter Academia and become a teacher at a decent University apart from IIT/NIT.
It’s okay to accept that the MSc program won’t make you an Engineer and you will have to resort to other things to upgrade your CV. To secure a managerial position, you can look for positions of responsibility on campus. You can show your interest in the particular field through extra courses, external coaching, competitions, and vacation internships/jobs.
Instead of losing all hope in the degree, it’s better to determine your interest and steer your resume and skills in that direction.
Should I prefer GRIET or BVRIT?
GRIET (Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology) has a good infrastructure and best faculties are available to the students. BVRIT is one of the emerging institutes of technology and research in our country. NIRF 2020 has ranked GRIET and BVRIT at 172 and 199 for BTech.
Facilities:
GRIET – GRIET provides the students with facilities like transportation, sports ground, canteen, library and facilities for physically handicapped students. Hostel facilities are only available for the girls.
BVRIT - BVRIT campus is spread over a huge area with facilities like library, sports ground, hostel, yoga centre and gymnasium. College library has a collection of 20,000 volumes of books and 2673 titles with the seating capacity of 150 students.
Admission:
BVRIT – At BVRIT, admission to Category A seats for BTech engineering courses are given on the basis of rank scored in TS EAMCET. Category B seats are filled by College as per the guidelines of technical education.
GRIET - 70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates. Admission is given to any Engineering course on the basis of the score of the common entrance test (EAMCET).
