How can one apply for a dual degree at IIT Kanpur?
You cannot get admission into the dual degree program during the initial admission period. Rather, after completing the 5th semester, interested students can apply for dual degrees via BTech-MTech and BS-MS. This option is open till the beginning of the 8th semester. Additionally, there is an option of a hybrid dual degree, wherein students can after doing a BTech from a certain department do an MTech from another department.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the dual degree, students should have a minimum CPI of 6.0 at the time of applying.
Suitability: This program is best for those students who have no intention to get employed in the near future and want to focus on research in the field of their choice and then eventually do a master's thesis.
Credibility: The requirement of high CPI in itself testifies to the fact that only the top rankers of highly motivated students opt for this program. The most academically strong students tend to go for this.

The best college depends on an individual's preferences and their future prospects. My friend is an alumnus of MISB Bocconi and was all praise of the institute's holistic approach. Listing a few perks he told me about the semester spent in Italy that gave him exposure at another level. The institute has a diverse faculty pool with professors from every corner of the world and top B Schools like IIMs. The student crowd is also heterogeneous and enhances the learning experience. I am not saying MISB is better than the other mentioned institutes. All I am saying is that every college caters to different kinds of students and you should look for the one that caters to your needs its better to talk to the current batch as well as the alumni to get a better understanding and then make an informed decision.
Which is better, to join TCS or to continue with GATE preparation?
Join TCS and prepare for GATE simultaneously. During the training session for three months, you will get ample time to prepare for GATE after office hours. If you manage your time efficiently, it’s not difficult to squeeze a few hours for studying, after office hours, even after the training period. Many TCS associates prepare for competitive examinations like GATE, CAT, and IAS examinations. With the right time-management strategy, it’s possible to do both.
Which is better SRCC or Hansraj College?
SRCC is definitely better than Hansraj College. I say this based on the reviews I got from my friends from both institutes.
- SRCC is India's best commerce college.
- It has an exceptional teaching faculty. SRCC faculties are authors cum professors. Most of the books that you will refer to study are written by SRCC professors.
- It also ranks first in undergraduate placements. In the 2020 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 31 LPA and the average CTC offered was 8 LPA. Some of the major recruiters at the institute are BCG, Deloitte, Wipro, Google, etc.
- Because SRCC is located in the north campus, the campus life and atmosphere are among the greatest that a student may find in India.
- Crossroads, the SRCC cultural festival, is the most well-known DU event.
It's a great college. Given the choice between SRCC and Hansraj, you should go for the former.
Which is better, Panimalar Engineering College or Panimalar Institute of Technology?
The Panimalar Engineering College in Chennai is affiliated by Anna University and approved by AICTE. It has a faculty strength of 3500 members. It was ranked 100+ by NIRF 2017. It is ranked 201 for BTech by NIRF 2020.

The dress code for NIT Trichy has been removed for girls. The curfew timings of the hostel are more strict for girls than they are for boys.
The amount of freedom that any girl at NIT Trichy gets is very relative. For example, NIT Trichy is way more liberal with girls, when it is compared to VIT where a girl is not even allowed to shake hands with a boy or walk anywhere near to him. How is a typical day of students at Osmania medical college?
A typical day for students at Osmania Medical College begins around 9 a.m. One cannot be late to the class because the attendance is taken at 9 AM sharp. The students spend their time in the dissection hall from 9-11 a.m. This is followed by two more lectures from 11 am- 1 pm. The lunch break starts at 1 PM and lasts till 2 pm.
