Remarks

My experience with the SSM institute was pretty exceptional. I would definitely recommend this institute for whosoever is looking to pursue a masters degree in Chennai. Admissions are on the basis of MAT scores.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is pretty good and updated as per UGC norms. The course curriculum was pretty thorough. My personality was drastically altered (for good) due to the course structure. It gave me more confidence to deal with people.

Placement Experience

Many placement drives are organised by the institute in order to facilitate students with a better job opportunity. Some of these companies are namely, PNB Paribas, Tata Motors, Yes Bank, Cognizant, etc. Average package offered is also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First year fee for my MBA course was around INR 1,30,000. The college is pretty affordable in terms of fee structure. On top of that there placements are also good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for the meritorious students and students from economically weaker background.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty awesome and healthy. Infrastructure is pretty upgraded and very magnificent in terms of modern architecture, since these hostels recently built. We have a sports complex, seminar hall, hostel facilities, wi-fi connectivity, and a state of the art library.

Admission

Admission to the MBA program is on the basis of MAT or TANCET entrance exam. Students have to apply on the official website of the college with all the necessary details and entrance exam scores. A merit list is prepared on the basis of test scores and academic performance of the applicant.

Faculty

Faculty is well qualified and they have a plethora of experience in the teaching industry. While some of them had industry experience. They were all pretty talented. Faculty paid dedicated attention towards the overall development of the student. Our institute also invite the executives from different Industries are invited to interact with the students.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO
