Remarks

College management is very good but the officials responsible for the function are a bit rude and are not sympathetic with the students.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for MHTCET and I had a score of 124 out of 200. I had a basic interest in this particular field and I had decided to do this at any cost.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of our curriculum was decent but very lengthy. The electives were quite Unique in the final year which no other college has in Pune. MEMS Technology,Soft Computing,Artificial Intelligence,Digital Image Processsing.

Internships Opportunities

There was no company for Internship but many companies for Placement activities. The college authorities did not try enough for the internship opportunities. But yes there were many sponsored project opportunities.

Placement Experience

Placement is one of the top priorities of our college and this is the reason why it has managed to bring about 150 odd companies for the campus recruitment.

Sinhgad KarandakTop ten cultural festivals of India,TechTonic(Technical event celebrated with brilliant minds entering the techno savvy world).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the same as other private colleges in Pune. And it is quite expensive because of the facilities it offersIt offers swimming pool free of cost,free WiFi facilities,Huge campus,various festivals,National level fests etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many such facilities of scholarships which the college offers especially for backward castes and financially poor people.

Campus Life

Speaking about the campus life,It is the best place for budding artists as it can be a booster for them to kick-start their artistic career. I was really poor at singing but the environment this college offered me pumped me up and in the final year I had won first prizes in many colleges including the Sinhgad Karandak.

Hostel Facilities

I was a local student and do not have much experience about the college. But the mess facility is wonderful as it offers good food and sweets sometimes.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The network with the alumni is not much good but they do arrange good events for alumni of the college. May of the alumni students are working and studying abroad and they are already doing it very well.

Exam Structure

The timings are bit hectic for this particular department but the environment still it helps everyone to chill out.

The faculty was well educated. The entry level criteria is very strict and the faculty is chosen very precisely. Many of them have published their own books as well as many are PhD holders.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student

Location of college is best near to juhu beach.

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there.
