Remarks

My master's journey at the AVS was not what I expected, but it was a good adventure, nevertheless. The college has a good placement record from which I benefitted. Teaching is also good. AVS is definitely a good choice for masters at a reasonable price in the Tamil Nadu region.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was enriched with the industry exposure and practical applications of our theoretical learning. The course touched all the concepts related to the basic managerial discipline, finance, operations, HR, etc. We learned a lot from our esteemed faculty and their guidance helped us in becoming corporate ready.

Placement Experience

Our college has an in-house corporate training team, which focuses on preparing the students of the final year for the interview process. ICICI, Yes Bank, Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, Aditya Birla, yamaha, etc. are some of the top recruiters from our college. The corporate cell assisted us at each step during the placement process.

College Events

There are many clubs and associations in the college like Red Ribbon Club, Rotaract club, English literature club, women’s forum, and more. Many workshops and seminars are organized by different departments for enhancing the learning experience and spreading awareness among the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for the MBA program is around 1 lac, which is equivalent to other colleges. The college also offers scholarship program for poor students.

Campus Life

Campus life is nice in AVS college. The juice center is the main center of attraction. Library, auditorium, seminar halls, all are digitized. We also had a parlor inside the campus.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed at the hostel during my course duration. The hostel buildings are good. They have installed solar panels for electricity generation. The hostel fee is less than 50K per year, which is pretty cheap in comparison to pg accommodation.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

Admission to the MBA program is on the basis of the counselling process, which is conducted by the TNEA. My marks were not good in the entrance exam, that’s why I had to wait for the third counseling process.

The college provides opportunities to participate in classroom discissions ,presentations ,and academic activities .

More pratical exposure throught industry visits ,interactions ,internships and live projucts would help students connect classrooms learning with real industry requirements .
The college could orovide more structural placement guidance .

The placement percentage should be confirmed with the college placement department. iI belive that internship pratical exposure , industry connections and interview preparations are importent for improving employability .After cpmpleting my MBA, I plan to developement my management career .

the faculty members are supportive and the mba curriculum helps improve management knowledge communication skills and overall personality development campus life provides good opportunities to interact with classmates and participate in activities.
the college provides a decent learning environment and satisfactory infrastructure the course is useful for professional growth and the placement support helps students prepare for interviews and career opportunities.

the college provides placement opportunities for mba stidents and placement preparation helps improve communication aptitude and intherviews skills students generally become eligible for campus requirements. the companies visiting number of offers and salary packages may vary each year. my expected annual package is aroung 5 lpa. the average and highest packages and the percentage of students placed depend on the placement records of each batch. more company visit and internship opportunities would improve placements further after completing my mba i plan to start my carrer in a management related role gain industry experience and develop my professional skills for future growth.

Likes

Placements at GSBM are decent ,with student generally becoming eligible from the last semesters . Companies from sales ,marketing, finance ,HR and business devolpment sectors visit the campus .Placement opportunity and packages vary by company and student performance ,with average packages being reasonable for MBA freshers .A good percentage of students recevie placements opportunity, while stuends can also explore of -campus options .After completing my MBA ,plan to start my career in a management_related role and build my proffessional experience.

The placement opportunities for my program are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester preparation and internship opportunities started yearly. The placemet cell various activity such as apptitude test, resume building session, group discussion, mock interview, prepare placemnt training to help students prepare for the requriements. The placement cell offers reasonable support throughout recruitment process.

The college provides 100% placement opportunities to all the students. We receive information about job openings, recruitment drives, aptitude tests, interviews, and other selection processes through the placement cell. The salary package is also good which is provided based on the company profile The placement cell supports students in various placement opportunities making all the students get placed while completing the degree After completing my degree, my plan is to start my career in a suitable role related to Human Resources or Finance, gain practical industry experience, and gradually develop my professional skills
