Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is well defined for every courses. It's well divided into 8 semester courses. Comming to examinations, we'll have 3 internal examinations and 1 semester examination in a semester. A semester course is valid for 3-4 months.

Placement Experience

Our University provides 100% placement. Almost all core companies and software companies are major recruiters. They also provide off campus placement for our alumnus. They also provide internship in various companies in Chennai, Trichy etc.

College Events

There are 3 main fests celebrated in our University. They are 1. Colosseum It is a sports fest whose duration is 3 days. It's an intra college fest. So, other college students are invited and made competitions with them. 2. Daksh It is a technical fest whose duration is 3 days. Many technical companies come over here and they'll conduct workshops on various titles. 3. Kuruksastra It is a cultural fest and its duration is 3 days. Other college cultural teams are invited for a performance on our stage. Many celebrities are invited for their performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. Academic fee for 1st semester is 65000 INR. And for further semesters there will be a 5% increase. So, per year, we'll pay around 1.3 -1.5 lakhs. And for total completion, we'll pay 6-7 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Our University is giving scholarship to students with the help of Government of India under National Scholarship Scheme. Other than this, they provide educational loan from CITY UNION BANK in college premises.

Campus Life

There are Hi-Tech research labs where students are allowed to research along with professors. Coming to sports, We have a Cricket Team, Basketball team, Football team, large number of athletes who participated in all levels of games.

Hostel Facilities

If you opt for hostel, the hostel infrastructure and facilities will be normal. You don't have an water heater and if you need, you can use your immersion rod heater with permission. There are 5 hostels for boys and 5 hostels for girls out of which 1 has attached bath and the others have common bathroom. The fee for attached bath varies from 16000-25000INR per year and for others 10000-14000INR.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumnus has their own organization. They organize events every year. Current students can join that organization and can contact alumnus regarding education, semester abroad program etc. Our alumnus are helpful in choosing our career path.

Admission

We have to apply for admission through online portal. We need to enter our syllabus( CBSE or State Board) then our 12th grade marks. If you've written JEE Mains, you need to enter your JEE Mains score. They will normalize your score and they'll release rank list. Then they call for admission counseling according to your rank.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it.
