Remarks

The positive remarks is that our college has no negative remark. I'm proud of my college the only one college in Kerala where there is no ragging. And the infrastructure is nice. The college staffs and alumni association have good hands in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

After ktu regulation the BTech curriculum were changed drastically, there are 8 semester, exam taken at the end of semester called end semester exam. Also internal exam taken, by the new ktu regulations attendance have 15% mark.

Placement Experience

Internship and job opportunity are likely. I'm just joined in the college only after i Passouting i can describe the experience from placement and job opportunity can tell. But over all i knew from the seniors that it is very good.

TMS-Thrissur motor show by Mechanical engineering students. Dhyuthi -Tech fest. Sparsham-Oasis camp. NSS:Nss programs are conducted by nss volunteer's in colleges. Different type of clubs are present like ideator ,oasis etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Only about six thousand is the exam fee per semester and is affordable conspired to other professional degree course. In all the government colleges the few structure is similar but when look in to private colleges it is fairly high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The is a egrantz scholarships for joint students. By this scholarship the student exam fee will cut off to small value. Different types of scholarships list are available in college and interested student can apply it.

Campus Life

Wonderful b lab is present, even though our college is a professional college instead of an arts college it is meeting with the all type of arts and sports events. There is a football and cricket ball team is present.

Hostel Facilities

Government hostel is available for both men's and ladies. And government hostel were very cheap when compared to other private hostels. In government hotel only three thousand rupees but when look to private hostel the total fee will vary from a thousand to ten thousand.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumini association is very helpful. Always they try to improve our college. They likely to hear what wanted our college to compete with other private colleges, gec college is a ragging free campus.

Admission

After writing the plus two board exam student must write keam entrance exam, according to the rank in keam exam seat get, after that go and take admission in the college. So I'm telling the process ones more first complete the board exam then write keam and pass it.

Gec Thrissur have wonderful faculty and professional teachers and best labs. The faculty advisers are very kind and always helping the student to reach there the potential. The alumini association is very strong and always trying to help and improving the college.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

college provides nice venue good study environment

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students
