Good College

The positive aspect about the college is that it has good results and placements. Last year's 4th and 3rd-year batches are first in KTU university. Around 70 - 80 percentage students are placed from each passed batch.

The course curriculum is average. The course consists of 4 years (8sem). A total of 66 papers are there in this course. Each paper consists of 150 marks. There are two internal exams and one university exam for each paper. The internal exams consist of 20 marks each, so total of 40 marks. 10 marks for the assignment. Balance 100 mark is taken from the university exam.

The college has good campus interviews and placements.70-80 percent of students are placed from each passed-out batch. Around 25- 30 are coming to our College for placements. From 2 years onwards we have placement training. So all students are well trained for placements.

Arts, techfest, sports, ethnic day, engineers day, Onam, etc. Other events like quizzes, treasure hunts, workshops are held every week. Most of the students are participating in these competitions. Every week we have an hour called zero hours. During this hour these events are contracted.

Yes, the fees structure is feasible. Students having a 90 percent mark in maths can study in government fees (8500 per year). In the management quota, there is 3 Scheme. Students having 90 marks in maths (+2) have 8500 rupees fees per year. Scheme 2 students with 85 percent mark in maths (+2) have 40000fl fees per year. Scheme 3 students with 80 percentage marks in maths (+2) have 60000 fees per year. Students having no scholarship have to give 85000 per year. If we have 8 CGPA during studying we will be upgraded to the next scheme. If we have a CGPA of less than 7 then we will be downgraded 1 scheme.

Every extracurricular activity is provided by the college. Every year we have 2 days of arts and 2 days for sports. On arts day every stage and event is conducted. On sports day athletics and games are conducted. We also have 2 days tech fest programme other than that no other curricular activities are there.

I have not opted for a hostel. But I know about the hostel. The infrastructure of the college is very good. It is spacious and has good facilities. It has good room facilities and toilet facilities. So everyone in the college has a good option for the hostel.

There is no Alumni meeting in our college. But senior students are friendly and helpful. We can ask or clarify any doubts from senior students. They also give guidance to the junior students. They also give us their text, notes, etc.

First I applied for admission. Then they will put a rank list on their site. Rank was calculated by 12 marks and Keam rank. Each branch has 60seat each. So for 5 branches, they will take a total of 300 students.

Our college has a very good faculty. Faculties are well experienced and talented. Most of them have Ph.D.'s and some have doctorates in their subjects. So in my opinion college had taken a good step in this case. The college always appoints the best teachers.
