Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is not bad but syllabus to heavy for the students like us to study it should be minimised accordingly to the semester it is going on as usual every year course curriculum enhances job opportunities.

Placement Experience

The placements of JSS college Ooty road our college provides many internships and job opportunities placements excetra it always tries to put up power abilities to face people and the society internships when I have learnt to be independent and bold enough.

College Events

4.5

JSS college Ooty road mysuru Karnataka state is one among the best college in our locality event celebrated in the college as follows freshers party student union inauguration annual day and these are not celebrated in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure when compared to other colleges surrounding has JSS college Ooty road mysuru the fee structure is affordable by the middle class family and the poor people and it is been honoured by many institutions and organisations for the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our colleges not offered any scholarship for loan facility only it encourages the state level and the central government of India scholarship post matric Vijay Sirohi vidyasaarathi and many more scholarships benefits the students put up on the notice board we see the road and interested people apply for the scholarships.

Hostel Facilities

We do not have a college hostel for boys but to girls hostel there itself the college campus we have many community hostels in Mysore because many community follows saree infrastructure and facilities of the college is unbeatable have been certified bhayanak A grade.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

About the college life

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
