Remarks

Comming to positive remarks the fees structure is feasible and is payble by every student. On the other hand the faculty and staff is also good but the campus is not providit enough to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is good and the exam structure is according to addmission year. It changes very frequently. Some time the exams are semester bases. Or sometimes the number of exams occurred in the form of minors and majors.

Placement Experience

2

The placement procedure occurs every year for the seniors or the students of last year. A number of companies come to the campus for the placement process. The college also provides an internship facility. In the last semester, students can go to any reputated company for placement

College Events

1

There are the number of events celebrated every year in the college. There are tech fests celebration. Also the festival are celebrated on a big level. There are no. Of competition that are organized in which student can show there ability.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is according to the course. As it is a government organized college the fees structure is less as compared to private collges The fees is feasible for every student and there are also facilities available for poor students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship facility, as far as i know, the college. If the student score full marks in the semester or year. There is no scholarship. Also, the loan facility is not recognizable. And i do not opt for any of these

Campus Life

2.5

There is a number of labs available there are chemistry lab. There are computer labs. There are a physics lab. There are mock labs for practice. Coming to sports there is basketball ground. There is Cricket, football, badminton ground

Hostel Facilities

2

3 star. The hostel is not provided with enough facilities as the students required. The Internet timings are restricted and also speed is low. On the other hand, there is less quality of food. It is difficult to some extent

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very less helpful. They do not provide us with any kind of information regarding the studies. They just need our involvement in activities so that they can get some money for organizing the event.

Admission

The admission process in Guru Nanak Dev University is according to marks in 12th. The marks in JEE MAIN is also preffered. The councelling fees is submitted first and then on the day of counseling students are given admission.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of the college is good. They are educated and very friendly to the students. All the problems are solved by the faculty and they have enough knowledge and facility to provide the students and everything ther need

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
