Remarks
Good security system , need improvement in infrastructure and lab facilities. More parking space is needed for students.Have to provide free WiFi in campus. Some part of campus is so wild it have to be take care.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is too tough to study for an below average student. There will be 6 subjects in a semester and labs too. In final semester there will be 4 subject + project. For each subject you have to write 2 internal exams and one university exam compulsory. These rules may be vary according to the act of university. From this year onwards university is planning to lighten their rules and regulations. For us it was a tough period.
Placement Experience
There are so many placement opportunities for students who have no backlogs. Many IT companies are hiring students from all departments.There is 6 departments in this college and all got equal opportunity.This college have a special department called placement cell which is developed to get proper placement for graduates.
College Events
Art festival, sports , college day, senate day are the main events occurring in this college. There are so many events other than listed are happening under each department.every special days are celebrated under each departments by students. Very peaceful college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For government seat students fee for one year is about 80000 rupees and for management seat students fee is about 140000 rupees. And for NRI seat it varies from 3-4 lakhs per year.feasible fee structure and college facilities are apted for the fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships for students who have good grade in entrance examination and good marks in semester examinations.loan facilities are provided by nearest bank (IOB).scholarships are given as full fee and half fee. Government allotted students have more scholarships compared to other seats. College also provide scholarships for students other than from government.
Campus Life
College promoted sports , project etc very high level. Our sports teams wins so many inter university cups. Sports like football,cricket,table tannins,batminton,basketball,althetics and chess are promoting very actively.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini are very helpful to present students. They help us to raise fund for events, for our exam preparations and also for placements. There is no ragging in our campus. Ragging is not allowed by seniors , faculties and college management.
Admission
I had enough rank to get government allotment but I missed to confirm my allotment. So I give application for management seat and I got it.For government allotment you have to pass entrence examination conducted by govt of Kerala. 20000 and above ranked students may got government seat. About 80000 rupees per year fees. This is a 4 year course.
Faculty
Good faculty members. All of them are well in lecture and manners. Some faculty members are tough and rough but it is for our grace.In mechanical Enginnering department all faculty members are very good at lecture and polite behaviour. There is one faculty in EC department who named Anil melaparambu, who is in charge of decipline and college men’s hostel. He is good at his profession but hated by students (true fact).
